About DCA International

DCA International specialises in the sales skills necessary to win in the world of complex selling.  This is a world where sales are won and lost by having an effective sales strategy and proactively influencing the politics. 

  DCA International was founded by Derek C Shelmerdine in 1990.  All of the consultancy and MasterClasses are  delivered by Derek.

DCA INTERNATIONAL - AN OUTLINE

The focus is on providing sales MasterClasses and consultancy to win in complex and difficult sales situations; for both channel and direct salesforces.

The Workshops and consultancy are designed to help salespeople to achieve their full potential.  This is not a “magic bullet” but an understanding of HOW to win in any given situation. 

DCA International can deliver sales training and consultancy in all areas of selling.  If YOUR salespeople are not winning as much NEW business as you think they should be, in both new name and account development, then DCA International WILL increase your sales successes.

The approach is for all salespeople with any level of experience.  If the potential is there DCA International can show the way to becoming a Pele or Pavarotti of selling.  Most salespeople do not have this level of innate potential.  For them this same approach will maximise their skills.  Either way YOU will see an increase in sales performance.

DEREK C SHELMERDINE - AN OVERVIEW

An engineering background with an honours degree is Engineering Science.

In 1979 Derek moved out of engineering and into sales.

Since then Derek has gained experience in most areas of selling and sales management.  It is this experience which enables DCA International to provide specialist MasterClasses and consultancy for both direct and channel based sales organisations.
